Drawing on her 20+ years of experience in the design industry in various roles, Nazarena Bowring founded Nazarena + Co in 2020 as a one stop shop, offering- interior, event and landscape design.
Nazarena has always been a creator at heart, her initial industry experience came about while she was a fashion designer, styling and producing fashion shows as well as photoshoots for her line and that of others. This work led her to a career as a visual stylist, buyer and merchandiser for several well known SF Bay Area brands.
Years later Nazarena became a realtor and was able to help her clients receive high offers in record time by applying some of the same principles she had used as a visual stylist to stage their homes. Shifting her focus from residential to commercial property and business opportunities, Nazarena was able to offer her real estate and design services to her clients with more creative freedom while also learning to navigate a new set of rules that came along with working in the commercial space.
Ever the supporter of the arts and emerging artists, in 2009 Nazarena began curating and co-hosting bi-weekly art exhibits in San Francisco in addition to her career as a business broker. This experience helped to further train her strong eye for design as well as expand on her experience in creating memorable events.
While not classically trained in interior/exterior design, Nazarena brings a unique perspective to the table through her diverse and professionally creative background. Her common threads - exceptional service, great design vision, clear communication and clever budgeting skills, saving her clients time and money.
Nazarena’s mission is to assist both residential and commercial clients in creating timeless spaces and memorable events that reflects her clients’ personalities and suits their design needs.
In her spare time, She enjoys spending time with her husband and their two children, gardening, crafting and thrifting, in addition to traveling in search of new experiences and design inspiration.

Nerd alert! Watering my plants and attending to my garden is oddly satisfying. It reminds me of my mom, she inspired my love of cacti.

I always have to buy/find something for our home when I travel. It makes for sweet little reminders of the happy memories from the trip. Plus it makes our space more personal and interesting.
